Manufactured since the 1930’s, Shulong is the result of a long Chinese tradition of comfort and well-being. Also known as, the “people’s sneakers”, they were prized for their comfort, durability and flexibility. Deeply anchored in the Chinese habits, they were worn by the Chinese monks for the practice of WuShu and by the masses for everyday use as well as for the practice of Taichi.

With Shulong shoes, the former style has been revived with new designs that fit the new generation’s taste, as well as those of sneakers lovers around the world. Shulong is now declined in various colors and styles, but has remained true to its traditional characteristics. Its strength stems firstly from its extraordinary and unique sole, produced following a “handcraft” and traditional method used in the past for the manufacturing of the Wushu* Shoes. The Shulong has followed and fully respected this production process to offer a genuine, technical but also comfortable shoe. As a result, Shulong is now the only exported Chinese brand to distribute the real Wushu shoe, worn by the Shaolin monks and by the masses.
*Wushu: Literally means “martial art”. It is a more precise term than the widely used term kung fu, which can mean either martial art or “skill”. In the broadest sense, the word wushu may refer to any martial art in the world, though in practice it often refers to the modern sport named “wushu” or the various styles of Chinese martial arts.
